i love and hate chinese new year spring cleaning.

was cleaning my drawer and saw these! hello kitty collectibles from macdonald's few years back! such a craze at that time!

i highlighted my hair too, brownish gold colour. : )

as one gets older, there's nothing fantastic about chinese new year. just another time for gathering and rest. till then.

wanted to get my samsung phone yesterday, but it was out of stock. might be heading to other m1 shop to get the phone.

christmas eve and christmas day had been spent with friends.

movies, dinners, catch up, gatherings and exchange presents. i love christmas, even though i am not a christian.

had company lunch at jack's place on christmas eve.

caught avatar on eve, before having our dinner at sakae sushi. was abit lost during the start of the show, perhaps due to lost of concentration. was so sleepy. but the storyline was good. i love the beautiful graphics. it is really a recommended show.

met up with my poly friends, and we had a movie marathon. watched 2 movies.

bodyguards & assassins was not bad. i was actually waiting to see more of donnie yen's fighting scenes. i love leon lai's character in the show, his fighting skills were really great. i guess the show was too short, to really show the acting for all characters. this show really shows the historical revolutions. one thought-revolutions really kills alot of people.

the treasure hunter was next. the story line was really nothing much. we only wanted to watch the show because jay was the lead. i think one of the best part was eric tsang was in the show too. he made the show funny. one classic sentence in the show was "you no good you no good". funny funny.

caught mulan last weekend. i really love this show, despite the not-perfect ending.
the storyline might be old, but the show is really good. the actors really portrayed the characters well.

taiwan trip

day 1

flight at 830am. reached taiwan at 1pm, settled down at 3pm.

on the plane to taiwan.

went to our hotel, rainbow hotel (taipei) to settle down.
-please throw the dust in the dust-bag-

headed to hello kitty cafe (zhong xiao fu xing) for teabreak + early dinner.

the food is also somehow link to hello kitty. the food was not cheap.

headed to shi lin market for eating and shopping.

day 2

headed out to neiwan for hot spring.

one of the stalls in nei wan.

headed over to lavender garden after hot spring. pretty place with lots of dogs... taiwanese really love their dogs.

went to shilin market to shop and eat.
that ends day 2.

day 3

went to jin gua shi and jiu fen.

saw this little boy, so cute. got to take a shot of him.

the mountains and the sea.

headed to jiu fen. the place was sceneric.

went to ktv at night. their partyworld is amazing. all rooms come with a restroom, how pro is that... and it only cost 20bucks per person.

taiwan is so hot. unbearable...

day 4

went to town area. went to xing kong san yue - one of their popular high end shopping centre.

our breakfast! typical breakfast in taipei.

went up to taipei 101. it was a great experience. imagine 37 sec to reach 87th floor. @.@. that's how fast it is.

beautiful sunset. nice thing about taiwan is that their sun rise at 6am, and sun sets at 6pm.

day 5

headed to the national palace musuem.

next will be the aboriginal musuem. seriously very tourists for the last few days.

we saw this kindergarden beside the museum. omg okay. a kindergarden which is like a castle. defintely for the rich kids.

was around xi men ding for our shopping and dinner.

Day 6

went over to ba li and dan shui.

me!

one of the cafe we went in for drinks. weather really cannot make it.

went to this tourist attraction after the lunch. nothing much about this place though.

then to fisherwharf harbour. the bridge is so beautiful.

went to one of the cafe for dinner. the food was so-so. but the live band was good. got handsome boys singing. lol.

day 7

head to sun yat san memorial hall.

the statue outside the memorial hall.

day 8-9

went to taiwan storyland in the morning. flight in the evening.

headed to the airport after storyland.
thats our luggage!

on the plane back to home sweet home.

pretty sunset. byebye taiwan.

that sums up my taiwan trip. a pity being not able to go to gaoshiung. if i have a chance to go taiwan again, i will definitely go! no regrets...

watched UP with my buddies in the afternoon, before heading to joo chiat for my grandma's birthday celebration, at this ulu seafood place.

UP was good. i love the show. russell is so cute.

dinner at sakae sushi and chilling out at tcc.

we ate, drank and chat all the way from 6.30pm to 11.00pm. lols. so much to catch up with her.

i realised i have been eating way too much. time to control already.

i love my friends. they are often the ones giving me advices. =)

this year was a special year, as i footed the bill for the mother's day dinner. ain't super expensive, barely a bill of $60. we didn't eat at posh restaurant, just at a normal food place. sometimes it's not the price of the dinner, it's the people we spent with and the time spent together.

gosh... weather is so hot these days. i usually don't sleep with aircon on, but these 2 weeks i am sleeping with my aircon on. is our earth dying?

been real real busy at work, time passes so fast and then it's end of day already. i am so addicted to this facebook game - restaurant city. haha, i am at level 13, going level 14 soon.

caught 2 movies over the last weekend. shinjuku incident and fast & furious 4...

shinjuku incident was... violent, but overall the show is not bad. daniel wu's hands... x.x

fast & furious 4 was great. at least to me, it was exciting.

i am so looking forward for my convocation on friday, and yet... not looking forward. after the convocation, i am officially no longer a student anymore. well, i am no longer a student since i started working last year. lols. seems like everything will come to an end soon. oh well, i have to be forward looking and work towards $$!

bought heels again! over spent this month, must save up abit next month...

was sick for the past two days. down with flu and fever. couldn't even absent myself from work, even though i had one day of mc leave. work had been rather busy these 2 weeks, that i don't even have a breather.

hopefully my workload would be better next month. sometimes i would think if you are with me, how nice would that be. but life got to go on.

economy's really bad now. hopefully economic situation will gets better next half of 2009.
